2015 Granbury Texas Independence Day Celebration ~ (March 21st-22nd)

This week here in Texas we had a brief visit from a beloved stranger...the SUN! After what has seemed like an eternity of cold ugly weather I was happy to see signs that Spring is upon us. Spring just makes me happy honestly. It's the time of year where everything starts to come alive and families can return to a little outdoor fun!

With a forecast of spring-like weather for the upcoming weeks it will be a perfect time to plan a trip to the Historic town of Granbury for the 2015 Independence Day Celebration, March 21st - 22nd.

Due to inclement weather, the Granbury Independence Day Celebration had to be re-scheduled but now it is set to be bigger and better than ever! There will be plenty to do and see during this 2-day event. Catch Bull Riding and Mutton Bustin' on the lakefront beach or enjoy live entertainment on the stage at the square.

One of the highlights of the Granbury Independence Day Celebration is the huge birthday cake celebrating General Granbury's birthday. Grab a piece of cake (served from 10-11am) on the square and settle in to watch the parade that follows. This is sure to be a day of family fun with something for everyone! Check out the full schedule of events HERE.
